Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties under construction to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform pre-occupation and re-inspections, providing detailed reports to exceed NHBC standards.
- Monitor and advise on the implementation of the company’s waste policy.
- Provide support and guidance to site management teams, ensuring efficient and professional site operations.
- Review and suggest improvements to design quality throughout the build process.
- Attend various meetings to coordinate and address quality issues, providing valuable input and solutions.
- Produce and deliver presentations on quality issues to Site Managers and senior management.
- Oversee and resolve complex customer defect issues, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required:
- In-depth knowledge of NHBC standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in interpreting and providing feedback on technical drawings.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage workloads remotely.
- Keen eye for detail, particularly in the quality of finished properties.
- Competence in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
