CNC Turner Setter/Operator

Location: Draycott, Derbyshire
Salary: £15-£18 per hour

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in setting up and operating machining centres, producing high-quality parts to precise specifications, and self-checking their work using various measuring tools.

Based in our busy Draycott, Derbyshire workshop, you'll be responsible for setting up Haas lathes and ensuring quality output. Key duties include:

* Interpreting technical drawings to accurately produce parts to specification

* Running multiple machines when possible to optimize workflow

* Working on small, high-quality batches with a commitment to precision

* Evaluating and improving processes to enhance productivity and efficiency

About You:
Essential Skills and Experience:

* Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC lathe centres

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Strong attention to quality, with a focus on self-inspection
