Steel Plater/Fabricator

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £16.00 - £17.50 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30

About the Company
Our client is looking for an experience steel plater to join their expanding team.

The Role
As a Steel Plater/Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for:

* Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel plate components

* Reading and working from engineering drawings

* Operating machinery (grinders, drill presses, shears, etc.)

* Performing fabrication tasks like grinding, burning, and welding

* Ensuring quality through visual inspections and precise measurements

Requirements

* Strong experience in sheet metal fabrication

* Proficient with fabrication machinery (drilling, rolling, guillotines)

* Ability to interpret technical drawings

* Competent in using hand and power tools
