Construction Manager/Site based, Slough– Pharmaceutical & Healthcare – Contract role - £Good rates.
A new opportunity for a Construction Manager to work with successful global leader in developing innovative business solutions for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. They specialise in the design and construction of sophisticated environmental facilities, providing a complete turnkey package to the high technology industries, particularly Pharmaceuticals, Fine Chemicals, Biotechnology and Nuclear industries.
You will be involved in the construction phase of the project which will include the external work, groundworks & civil as well as the internal fitout.
In this role:
•You will be responsible for and lead all site-based and support activities required for the successful and class leading delivery of the project; This will include the planning, programming, design management, monitoring, reporting and completion of projects ensuring that the customers’ needs are met and aligned with the set budget and project KPIs across all functions.

Ideal candidate:
• Trained to a minimum standard of IoSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
• Ideally has experience with pharmaceutical and healthcare projects, particularly in the construction of laboratories and cleanrooms.
• Working knowledge of company safety and quality procedures.
• IT literate.
• Fully conversant with CDM regulations and able to operate at senior level in fulfilling the role of Principal Contractor.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS /WORK EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
• Extensive experience in Construction Management.
