Job Overview
Technical Leadership
* Lead and support the delivery of a variety of water and wastewater projects.
* Provide technical guidance and direction to junior engineers and technicians.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely, accurate design deliverables.
* Conduct design reviews, quality checks, and resolve complex engineering issues.
* Travel within the UK may be required for site visits and meetings.
Safety & Environment
* Design with health, safety, and sustainability in mind.
* Ensure CDM compliance and contribute to health & safety strategies.
People & Resource Management
* Coach and mentor junior team members.
* Contribute to resource planning and team development.
Innovation & Improvement
* Challenge the status quo with fresh ideas and support the adoption of digital design tools.
Financial & Commercial Input
* Assist with project budgets and provide data for informed decision-making.
* Deliver cost-effective, whole-life solutions.
Programme Management
* Ensure timely delivery of designs, flagging risks and mitigating delays.
Customer Focus
* Design with end-user satisfaction in mind, meeting regulator and client expectations.
About You
* Degree or HNC in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Professional membership with a relevant institution or working toward chartership.
* Proven technical expertise in water/wastewater project delivery.
* Full UK driving licence.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
