Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Key Responsibilities

As a Science Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5
Contribute to the development of the science curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback
Participate in extracurricular activities and science-related events
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:

Is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists
Has a strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
Is committed to ongoing professional development
Can work effectively as part of a team and independently

Qualifications and Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Experience teaching science at secondary level (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
Right to work in the UK
