The role – Maths Teacher

I am working with a SEN school based in Lambeth that are looking for a new Maths Teacher to join their team! In this role you must plan and deliver lessons while monitoring student progress, you must be an approachable, enthusiastic and confident person with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students. As a Maths Teacher you must have strong curriculum knowledge and experience working with different special educational needs, you will be teaching key stage 3 & 4 students in mixed classes. In this role you will be working with students with Autism and learning difficulties and you must have strong SEN knowledge and understanding. To be considered for this role you must hold QTS and have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

The school – SEN

This SEN school is based in Lambeth and caters for students aged 11 – 16 years old. They aim to support not just academic progress and development, but also social, emotional progress. They focus on developing life skills, helping them to become independent, and to plan for their future. The school’s curriculum and intervention programme support this, working towards giving their young people the skills to communicate with respect and articulacy. The school expect the young people, the parents and carers and all other professionals to work together to help the young person to achieve and develop their interests and to build confidence.
