Part Time Contract (3-4 months)

21 hours per week

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Paralegal within Planning / Highways in Grays. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

Dealing with Planning matters within the team particularly the submission of matters to the Planning inspectorate
Preparation of electronic bundles of documents for Planning Inspectorate as per their checklist.
Providing to support and assistance to Solicitors in the team including three fully remote Public Rights of Way locum Solicitors.
Retrieval of paper files, searching for documentation on paper and electronic files, scanning.
Drafting Orders and Notices.

The candidate:

Experience and a sound knowledge of highways law
Experience and a sound knowledge of planning law
Experience doing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
Experience doing planning enforcement notices and CLEUDs
Preferably from a local authority background
