Are you a caring and compassionate individual looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing SEN provision within a mainstream primary school.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs, focusing on their emotional and social well-being.
Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and independence.
Assist with daily activities, helping children develop essential life skills.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and self-esteem.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
Maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates on progress and well-being.
Requirements:
Experience working with children or relevant transferrable experience.
A minimum of a grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting children.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
