Vertical Recruitment are working on behalf of an award-winning independent building services consulting engineer. The business has experienced steady growth over the past 12 months, now with continued projects wins and framework appointments they are looking appoint an experienced M&E Revit technician to work within their 30 strong design team in South Manchester. The company work on a variety of technically challenging and complex projects, this includes high specification new build commercial and residential developments, hotels and education projects.

About You

* An MEP Technician with Extensive Working knowledge of Revit MEP and building services sector, preferably with 5+ years' experience. Able to create Revit models from early stages through the design phases.

* AutoCAD trained.

* Ability to work unsupervised with both Revit MEP and AutoCAD.

* HNC, HND, or BEng in relevant discipline or equivalent experience

* Good communication and leadership skills to liaise with and supervise younger technicians and communicate design plans with engineers.

Skills Required:

Technicians need to be efficient with using Revit and carry out the following tasks;

* Develop and manage 3D models of MEP systems using Revit MEP.

* Produce detailed drawings and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems.

* Ensure models and drawings are compliant with project requirements, codes, and standards.

* Identify and resolve any clashes or conflicts in MEP designs using clash detection tools.

* Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, layouts, and schedules for MEP systems.
