Job role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,(Apply online only)-£45,(Apply online only) + overtime @ 1.5
Location: Corby Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 06.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Company:
Interaction have partnered with a well-established, industry leader in injection moulding products. Due to continuous growth, our client is now looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their busy engineering team.

The Role
· Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes.
· Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
· Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
· Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance.
· Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
· Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.

The Requirements
· In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
· Electrical & Mechanical Competencies
· Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous
· Electrical bias - Advantageous
· Experience of working in a fast paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years - Essential
