Great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join one of the UK’s leading Facilities Management organisations in either Manchester, London or Birmingham. With responsibility for leading category strategy development and execution, and sourcing activities; this role requires strategic collaboration with key stakeholders across client operations to define business needs and implement robust procurement strategies.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead category strategy development and sourcing activities within designated supply categories
Engage with client operations teams, aligning on business needs and procurement strategies
Establish and maintain KPIs to track supplier performance and annual savings within the category or sub-division
Collate and analyse supplier performance data to support the Supplier Management Framework
Facilitate and enhance the use of the Coupa P2P system for improved procurement processes
Assist in new client bids, mobilisation efforts, and integration of acquisitions
Oversee project benefits, maintaining reports and forecasts
Monitor the contract renewal pipeline, managing the contract database, and administrating Master Framework Agreements
Track supplier compliance, financial stability, and support ethical sourcing initiatives aligned with modern slavery and ESG requirements
Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives, volume discounts, and continuous improvement opportunities
Skills & Experience
Previous Category Management or Procurement Management experience
Strong Commercial and Negotiation Skills
Strategic Approach with exceptional Stakeholder Management Skills
Ideally CIPS qualified or degree educated
Benefits
Annual Salary of £50 - £70,000 depending upon experience
Office locations available include Manchester, London or Birmingham
