Our client, a prominent player in the construction field, specialises in large-scale infrastructure projects and is actively looking for a proficient Site Engineer to work on various highway constructions under a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met.
Reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
Coordinating and supervising construction workers and subcontractors.
Selecting tools and materials and making safety inspections.
Providing technical advice and solving problems onsite.
Ensuring the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
Assessing and minimising risk.
Documenting and reporting on progress to stakeholders and clients.

Job Requirements:

Significant understanding of site engineering tasks and responsibilities, particularly within highways.
Capacity to interpret construction-related drawings and designs proficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide quick and effective solutions.
Robust knowledge of construction processes, along with health and safety regulations specific to highways.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, including surveyors and construction managers.
