Teaching Personnel is partnering with a renowned Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Rugeley to recruit enthusiastic teaching assistants for full-time roles (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm).
This independent school caters to boys and girls aged 7 to 18, offering exceptional support for students with complex needs such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Autism, and other SEN requirements.
Recognized as SEN School of the Year by TES in 2014 and rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted, the school is praised for its high-quality teaching, which enables students to achieve remarkable progress. A diverse curriculum is enhanced by therapeutic services delivered by in-house psychological and occupational therapy teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons.
Conduct small group sessions.
Provide one-to-one support for students requiring extra help.
Track student progress and relay insights to teaching staff.
Candidate Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
Familiarity with SEN and an understanding of the challenges faced by these students.
A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
A current, clear DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
