They are a reputable company known for their high-quality products and exceptional customer service. They are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our client's warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching HVAC equipment and materials. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials related to HVAC systems.
* Picking and filling orders from stock for dispatch.
* Packing and shipping orders efficiently and securely.
* Managing, organising, and retrieving stock within the warehouse.
* Maintaining accurate inventory controls by documenting received and distributed materials.
* Ensuring the warehouse is clean, accessible, and safe for all staff.
* Operating warehouse equipment and vehicles, including forklifts, safely (if certified).
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Requirements:
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Punctuality and reliability.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management.
* Previous warehouse experience, especially in HVAC or related fields, is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
