Bennett & Game are delighted to be partnering a highly reputable Accountancy Practice in Central London, as they recruit for an Accounts Client Manager to join their growing team. Offering a salary of £50-60k and a wide range of progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of clients, providing tailored management accounting services, reviewing VAT returns, and offering advice and guidance on financial matters.

Client Manager Job Overview

Client Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients acting as the primary point of contact for queries. Understanding each client's unique business needs and financial goals. Providing bespoke advice
Management Accounting - Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts, providing clients with insights into financial reports, assisting clients with budgeting forecasting and cashflow management.
VAT Returns - Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns for clients in accordance with legal requirements and deadlines. Ensuring compliance with VAT legislation, and advising clients on VAT planning strategies
Team Collaboration - Work closely with other team members, including junior accountants, to ensure all client work is completed to a high standard. Providing coaching and mentoring to junior team members.

Client Manager Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience, in statutory accounting, management accounting and VAT returns, in a client facing role
Experience in providing management accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses
Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, Iris, Tax Calc, CCH, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to commute into Central London
No requirement for Visa Sponsorship
