JOB – Manufacturing / Operations Manager

LOCATION – Bath

TERM - Permanent

SALARY – £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an Manufacturing, Production, Operations or similar Manager for a Manufacturing business in the Bath area. Your main duties will include overseeing the manufacturing teams as well as helping to improve and optimise the onsite manufacturing processes.

The Manufacturing / Operations Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as a Manager.
Previous experience working as a Manufacturing, Production, Operations or similar Manager title within manufacturing.
Understanding of various manufacturing processes.
Capable of leading a team within a manufacturing environment.
Can communicate with other members of staff and other members of management.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement - beneficial
Experience within assembly manufacturing industry - Advantageous.The Manufacturing / Operations Manager role will involve:

Overseeing the responsibilities for Manufacturing, Planning and other areas.
Drive an attitude of continuous improvement activities within the business.
Lead the manufacturing team and oversee any development and training.
