CNC Machinist - Nightshift

Salary: Dayshift - £18.14 p/hr, Nightshift - £22.68 p/hrWe are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be a time-served machinist with experience in turning and milling. This role requires a proactive individual who can work well within a team environment and has a strong understanding of CNC Machining in an Industrial Engineering setting.

Day to Day of the role:

Programming and operating CNC machines to produce products that meet quality standards and specifications.
Understanding and working with tolerances, geometric tolerances, and surface finishes.
Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs, and ring gauges.
Working with a variety of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
Demonstrating a can-do attitude and collaborating effectively with team members.
Being flexible and willing to work overtime to meet customer requirements.
Continuously expanding knowledge and training in other machining processes.
Sharing expertise and training other team members.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Time-served CNC machinist with turning and/or milling experience.
Experience in a CNC Machining/Industrial Engineering environment.
Proficient in programming and operating CNC machines.
Familiarity with a wide range of materials.
Ability to use various measuring equipment.
Strong team player with a can-do attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.

Standard Dayshift - 38 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 0730 to 1600 with 30-minute lunch, Fridays 0730 to 1330.
