My Alfreton based client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Team Leader to add to their team.

This role will be working for the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry, you will be accountable for supervising operatives and processes to deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient operation in line with targets, budgets and plans.

WHAT OUR TECHNICAL TEAM LEADERS DO:

* Lead and motivate the team through role modelling the Company Values of Gritty, Proud, Decent and Agile

* Ensure that your team is fully trained and confident in fulfilling their role and developing technicians and operators

* Ensure conformance to plan (CTP) and plan achievement (PA) targets are achieved

* Adhere to manufacturing budgets and all operational policies, processes, and SOP’s

* Waste is minimised and segregated following company environmental protocols

* Ensuring weekly payroll and clocking in procedures are completed in line with payroll deadlines

* Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders

* Adherence to risk assessments, SOP’s and safe systems of work within the team Investigates all reported SHE incidents and implements relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans.

* Following reporting and escalation of incidents in line with SHE requirements

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR TECHNICAL TEAM LEADERS:

* Experience of managing large teams within a Production, Manufacturing, or Extrusion facility

* Experience of developing and coaching successful teams

* Knowledge of delivering Process Improvements

* Recent experience of a fast-paced environment, working under pressure

* A customer orientated attitude in line with company policies

* Excellent communication at all levels

HOURS OF WORK:

* 18:00 – 06:00 – 4on4off

This role is being offered on a ‘Temp to Perm’ basis and so we are only looking to hear from candidates looking for long term work.
