At Nescot, we are recruiting for lecturer in Functional Skills English to join our apprenticeships team.

Fixed Term until 31/7/25

What we are looking for:

* Recent and relevant experience in teaching Functional Skills English

* Relevant or transferable skills to be able to teach

* Experience of various teaching of English qualifications, and have the enthusiasm and initiative to give our students the very best learning experience

Duties/responsibilities:

* Deliver Functional Skills English 6 hours per week, through online sessions

* Prepare the apprentice for examination, through preparation of learning materials for on line delivery

* Prepare learning materials in varied formats

* Promote learner welfare

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects.
