Job Title: Shift Engineer - Data Centre

Salary: £55,000 per annum
Are you a skilled engineer seeking a dynamic opportunity in a cutting-edge environment? We are currently seeking a Shift Engineer to join our team at a newly developing data centre in Slough. As a Shift Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Monitor and respond to alarms and alerts promptly, resolving any issues that may arise.
Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate scheduled maintenance and shutdowns.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.Requirements:
Proven experience as a shift engineer, preferably in a data centre or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, generators, UPS, and fire detection systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond promptly to emergencies.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.Benefits:
