Questech Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for Engineering Stores controller to join the team at one of our well established clients based in the Leeming Bar area or North Yorkshire.
The Pay
£27,000
There will also be the opportunity for overtime and this client also have a contributory pension and productivity bonus scheme in place.
The Shifts
Monday to Friday (Apply online only)
Working as part of the site engineering team you will ensure the availability of spare parts for the maintenance function for efficient running of all plant and machinery.
Your role responsibilities will include:
• Stock control of all spare parts in store ensuring minimum spare part quantities as per min stock levels are available.
• Maintain Engineering stores, housekeeping.
• Source suppliers and obtain goods and services at most competitive prices
• Regular Stock taking of engineering spares stores.
• Update of engineering KPI’s, site service meter readings.
To be considered for this role we require the following skills and experience:
• Stock control systems in stores or warehouse’s
• Identification of engineering parts
About you:
• You must demonstrate flexibility
• The ability to go the extra distance to make sure the tasks are completed
• Able to demonstrate the ability to think and communicate effectively.
• Highly organized with a good eye for detail
• Must have strong administrative skills
• Excellent PC system skills
• You must also have an excellent telephone manner
