Registered Manager
Children’s home
Hours: 38h a week (8 sleep ins a month)
 
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children? We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in a nurturing and supportive children's home.
 
Duties:

To assist and support the (Registered) Home Manager in the day-to-day management of all operational activity within the home in accordance with legislative and policy requirements.
To deputize in the absence of the (Registered) Home Manager across the full range of activities within the designated home.
To participate in a managers’ On-call Rota within the homes, providing verbal and physical support where necessary out of on-duty hours.
Ensure high standards for Ofsted’s quality standards
Responsible for leading the staff/allocating tasks.
Recognise the positive abilities of children and young people and support our shared belief in lifelong learning.   
Qualifications and experience:
Essential:
Level 3 in residential care (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Min 3 years working in residential care and 12 months in a supervising capacity.
Experience in care planning
 
Desirable:
Level 5 NVQ working with children (Management)
