The Role

As Procurement Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the procurement team to source high-quality produce, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure smooth delivery across their diverse customer base. You’ll work closely with farmers, suppliers, and logistics teams to maintain quality and efficiency in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in sourcing and purchasing fresh produce from local and international suppliers.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and suppliers.

* Monitor market trends and pricing to support cost-effective procurement decisions.

* Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of produce to customers.

* Maintain accurate records and assist with procurement reporting.

A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or agriculture/fresh produce (desirable but not essential).
