Vehicle Techinician

Are you a skilled and experienced vehicle technician looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 / Level 3 / Level 4 Vehicle Technician to join our team.

Major Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for their client located in Hull. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a major part in ensuring the quality of service described is adhered efficiently carrying out repairs whilst minimizing time and material costs.

Hours :-

Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm Saturday morning 830am to 1230pm

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician

* Document all repairs according to company policy and quality standards utilising ISTA for repair instructions.

* Adhere to supplier guidelines for material usage.

* Participate in relevant training courses to learn new methods and techniques

* Take ownership pf vehicles and responsibility for repairs performed.

* Remain flexible in daily duties as needed.

* Ensuring adherence to and improvement upon the quality of service as outlined in working procedures, as well as compliance with Health & Safety responsibilities and ISO 9001 accreditation.

* Maintaining awareness, knowledge, and training on environmental issues within the ISO 14001 standard.

* Ensuring compliance with site rules

Skills Required as a Vehicle Technician

* IMI Level 2/3/4 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Equivalent (certificates will be required)

* Further qualifications in EV would be advantageous

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
