Position: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire (Field-Based)
Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 per annum + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service & Maintenance: Conduct routine service and maintenance on fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and perform optimally.

* Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve faults and issues in fire and security systems efficiently and effectively.

* Emergency Response: Provide timely support for emergency call-outs, offering swift solutions to critical issues.

* System Upgrades: Perform upgrades and modifications to existing systems as required.

* Customer Interaction: Engage with clients to offer expert advice, report on system status, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Documentation: Accurately complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation.

* Health & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.

* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.

* Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, BAFE) are preferred.

* Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.

* Personal Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
