We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor at our site in Buxton, Derbyshire. The site is easily accessible from Manchester, Warrington, Stockport, Rotherham, Sheffield, Dronfield, Bakewell, Matlock, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Leek, Congleton, Crewe, Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.

Main ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Maintenance Manager, the successful Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for leading and promoting a strong health and safety culture within the Electrical Maintenance Team whilst developing and utilising a systemic approach to managing, monitoring and motivating the Electrical Maintenance team.
On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Supervisor will include (not exhaustive):
Supporting the Maintenance Manager with the delivery of the electrical engineering maintenance strategy
Providing support to the Maintenance Manager to ensure coordinated allocation of labour resource when required to assist with High Voltage operational requirements
Supporting the Maintenance strategy in the development and coordination of routine electrical maintenance schedules
Providing management support to the Electrical Maintenance Planner to ensure coordinated allocation of labour resource and materials for the execution of Stone electrical maintenance requirements
Supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring adequate and appropriate training, resource and material allocation to cover electrical breakdowns and emergencies 24/7 across the business
Managing the Electrical Maintenance Team’s workshops, stores, welfare facilities and vehicles ensuring the safe and sustained organisation and upkeep of the facilities
Providing support to the Maintenance Manager in executing the requirements and standards of the Stone Electrical Management SystemThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be an Electrical Supervisor who has demonstrable experience in a similar position and ideally has experience in a material handling environment.
We are looking to hear from candidates who have sound technical knowledge in electrical distribution, process electrical and control systems plus a good knowledge and understanding on SHE procedures and Health & Safety electrical practices.
