Cedar is working exclusively with a highly acquisitive, Private Equity-backed technology firm to recruit an Interim Group Financial Controller. This position is initially offered as a 6-9-month contract, with a competitive day rate ranging from £850 to £1,150 (Outside IR35).

The Role
This is a high-profile, pivotal role within the finance team, ideal for a senior finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role offers the opportunity to drive change, improve processes, and support the company's continued expansion through strategic acquisitions.
Financial Reporting Leadership: Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, compliance with IFRS standards, and timely delivery.
Audit and Compliance: Manage external auditor relationships, ensuring compliance with IFRS and navigating complex accounting challenges.
Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing, geographically dispersed team, spread across multiple time zones and regulatory environments
Process Optimisation: Drive improvements to financial systems and processes, enabling scalable reporting solutions to support the business's growing international footprint.
Acquisitions and Integration: Lead the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into the financial reporting process, ensuring smooth consolidation and financial management across the global group.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with FP&A and Corporate Finance teams to ensure clear understanding of financial performance and alignment with strategic goals.
Your Profile
We're looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller with a deep understanding of consolidation, technical accounting, and audit. You should have the following attributes:
Leadership: Proven success in leading global finance teams through complex reporting processes and tight deadlines.
Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of IFRS and a history of addressing complex accounting matters with precision.
Change Driver: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency.
Collaborative: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working across multiple teams and with senior stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits
