NeuroSupport services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates,support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.
THIS IS A UK BASED POSITION

* YOU HAVE UK WORK EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE
* YOUR CV CLEARLY SHOWS YOUR RELEVENT EXPERIENCE WHICH RELATES TO THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR.
* EXPERIENCE IN BRAIN INJURY SUPPORT
* A FULL CLEAN UK DRIVERS LICENCE AND ACCESS TO A CAR YOU CAN USE FOR WORK
Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Colindale, NW9
Hourly Rate: £12-£14 per hour depending on experience.
Driver Essential? Not essential however would be an advantage.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:
Monday: 8:00am - 10:00am
Tuesday: 8:00am - 10:00am
Wednesday: 8:00am - 10:00am
Thursday: 8:00am - 10:00am
Friday: 8:00am - 10:00am
About you-Essential Experience:
We are looking for a support worker with experience in ABI, as this individual sustained an ABI in a road traffic accident . The client has identified that he is looking for somebody who is compassionate, has good humour, and will not be overly critical of him.
Support worker provision would be useful to help with things like planning and preparing for the week ahead, managing paperwork, developing and maintaining a routine, and attending appointments/hobbies on time.

Support worker provision would be useful to help with things like planning and preparing for the week ahead, managing paperwork, developing and maintaining a routine, and attending appointments/hobbies on time. It would also be useful if the support worker could join some of the monthly MDT’s with the treating team (case manager, neuropsychologist and neuro-OT) and provide some observations.
Successful Candidates will:
* Have access to full Training - including Brain Injury Awareness Training
* CPD opportunities
* Will be subject to Full Enhanced DBS

* Must have a Full UK Driving License and access to your own car
* Have Experience in the field of Psychology
* Willing to become self-employed
