Job Title: Hydraulic/Mechanical Fitter
Location: Ramsgate
Salary: £25,000-£35,000

Contract Type: Permanent

A leading maintenance and repair facility with a strong reputation in the aerospace industry is seeking a Hydraulic/Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Ramsgate. This position involves hands-on disassembly, assembly, and inspection of various hydraulic and mechanical components, ensuring that quality and safety standards are maintained to regulatory and company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to individual parts.

* Assemble hydraulic and mechanical units based on technical data, ensuring they meet testing and inspection standards.

* Adhere strictly to all safety and operational procedures.

* Maintain quality standards in line with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company regulations.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

* Perform other duties as needed to support operations and business goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Background in hydraulic or mechanical engineering.

* Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

* Strong numeracy, literacy, and the ability to interpret compliance documentation.

* Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards in quality and safety.

* Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams.

* Customer-focused, with strong communication skills.

* Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with good analytical and administrative skills.
