About the role – MFL Teacher

I am currently working with this school in Havering who are looking for an interactive MFL teacher who specializes in French or Spanish. The school are looking for a teacher who is confident in teaching non-fluent students French and Spanish. The successful MFL teacher must be patient in teaching capable students at a range of age groups, with sufficient support to see progression. The MFL teacher will ideally be willing to adapt teaching and learning towards all abilities of students, catering to the low ability and high ability students with the same attention to detail where they will have a creative approach to making the learning of modern foreign languages fun.

This good, mixed mainstream secondary school based in Havering cater to students aged 11 to 16 with a total of 941 students on site. The school itself opened up back in 2016 with a strong emphasis on parental support where parents, students and staff work collaboratively to aid progression. With their last Ofsted inspection graded Good - they were able to create an enjoyable, warm, friendly environment for students/staff to work and develop in.
