A leading player in the industry is currently looking for a Lead M&E Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team, covering a prestigious, client facing, commercial site in Central London
The Role
As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the following:
* The role is mainly of on-the-tools mechanical bias planned and reactive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, HVAC, generators, etc
* Will also invilve office based duties such as RAMS, rotas, overseeing sub contractor works etc.
* Fill out required paperwork, team meetings, site audits, and other Stepping up when the supervisor is on leave.
* Working Mon- Fri overtime is available, paid at overtime rates. Rotating between earlies and lates, 7am- 3pm and 1pm-10pm.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role of Mechanical Lead Engineer you’ll bring the following skills and experience to the role:
* You will hold mechanical bias qualifications- C&G NVQ Level 3 minimum.
* Experience in a facilities maintenance / M&E mechanical bias building service role is essential.
* Lead or supervisor experience essential.
* Strong communication skills, client facing.
* Can do attitude, willing to be flexible.
* Commutable distance from Central London.
