About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in the Data Cabling or Telecommunications industry to join our clients team. This role is pivotal in identifying, developing, and strengthening new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue. The successful candidate will leverage their industry expertise, network, and strategic skills to build relationships, generate leads, and close deals with clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target new business opportunities in the data cabling and telecommunications sectors
Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed growth targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
Provide insights and recommendations to optimise business development strategies.
Lead contract negotiations and close deals with prospective clients.
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
Work closely with internal teams, including project managers and technical staff, to ensure client requirements are met.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns and promotional materials.
Track and report on sales performance, pipelines, and forecasts.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance business outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in business development within the Data Cabling or Telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of data cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, or related technical services.
Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Preferred Skills
Established network of contacts within the telecommunications or data cabling industry.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Experience working with enterprise clients or managing large-scale projects.
