Class 1 / HGV 1 Tanker driver required for a permanent role based in Avonmouth, Bristol. Great opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver to gain experience as a Tanker driver.

You will be driving a Class 1 Tanker to deliver pressurised building products to sites across the southwest. A typical shift would start at 5am and last 10 hours, completing 1 to 3 drops, working Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturday.

This is a great opportunity for permanent HGV1 work with a reputable company, with the potential to upskill and gain Tanker experience.

Hours and pay

* Working Monday to Friday starting at 5am and usually working 10 hours a day.

* Optional overtime on Saturdays paid at an enhanced rate.

* £16.50 per hour paid weekly every Friday.

* £20 per hour on Saturday.

Requirements

* Previous Class 1 / HGV1 driving experience.

* Tanker experience is desired but not essential.

* Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.

* Valid Tacho and CPC.

* A good knowledge of WTD and Tacho rules.

* Safety boots and high viz.

* An understanding of health and safety.
