Role: Employment Advisor

Salary: £24,000 to £28,500 Pern Annum

Hybrid working: 2-3 days on-site per week

Location: Manchester

Sellick Partnership is recruiting for an Employment Advisor for our Public Sector client.

The key responsibilities of the Employment Advisor are;

Operate referral and liaison procedures with other agencies as needed (e.g., JCP, local referral partners, colleges, employers, training providers, and recruitment agencies) to support peoples' achievement of skills (including certification) and progression to employment, training, and education. Collaborate as a team to coordinate and deliver advice, guidance, and training interventions that meet the needs of unemployed individuals
Create and conduct one-on-one and group activities as part of customer interventions, such as initial evaluations, inductions, job search sessions, and sessions with clients who have missed appointments
During induction, evaluation, and follow-up appointments, provide one-on-one or group treatments while making sure that each individual's learning requirements are always identified
Make referrals to both internal and external organisations to advance the client.
Arrange for each consumer to get training and other interventions
Provide additional interventions with the customer as needed, helping them select solutions that will best suit their needs and supporting them as they plan
Encourage group learning that enhances employability
File any reports of any issues with personal safety
Take part in additional endeavours that bolster the team's and Work Solutions' efforts, like writing bids and tenders and developing new goods and services. Concerning You

The Ideal candidate for the Employment Advisor will have;

Preferably employed in settings that provide training, direction, advice, and counseling
Prior experience with vulnerable clientele
Achieving goals while having a thorough understanding of the local labour market, hiring practices, and emerging sectors
Solid understanding of the clientele and welfare to work
Awareness of national standards and guidelines
Expert and articulate rapport-building abilities
Prior job experience in sales, customer service, or the welfare-to-work sector is required
The capacity to function well under duress in a high-stakes setting
Previous experience working in a customer-facing role in sales, retail, hospitality, social services, or customer services
Strong IT abilities, including knowledge of MI systems, email, data security, spreadsheets, and diary management.
