Role: Teaching and Learning Lead - SEN Primary School in Wallington, Sutton

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Teaching and Learning Lead at a Specialist Primary School in Wallington supporting children aged 5-12 with ASD, SLD and SEMH

Contract: Fixed term until December 2025
Start date: Immediate
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Needs of students: ASD, SLD, SEMH
Salary: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality learning with the Head Teacher.
Design and implement a tailored ASD curriculum.
Lead, mentor, and support the teaching team.
Promote students' ASD, SLD, SEMH
Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
Oversee IEPs and targeted interventions.
Work collaboratively with therapists, social workers, and external professionals.
Monitor and improve teaching quality and student progress.Requirements:

Experience working with ASD, SLD and SEMH students in education.
Proven leadership and team support skills.
Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, curriculum planning, and behaviour management.
Excellent communication with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce) on the update service.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
