Qualifications
The ideal Automation Engineer would have a time served apprenticeship along with a recognised engineering qualification

Skills needed as a Automation Engineer
The successful Automation Engineer will have PLC Programming & Modification experience with either Allen Bradley or Siemens S7, Knowledge of DC Motor Controls, Knowledge ofScada HMI systems, Strong analytical and fault finding skills is a must. Good experienced hands-on ability relating to automation hardware and software within a FMCG/ distribution would be an advantage.

Duties as a Automation Engineer
- working on Projects
- Working with the automation team to diagnose and repair faults
- Modifying programs to allow production to continue.
- Analyse data and providing options for solutions and improvements to performance.
-Planned maintenance throughout the site
