Join our team as a Part Time Night Support Worker at Ulcomb House, Sittingbourne, Kent. You will join a team of 14 other carers who together provide 24-hour support to 5 young adults with learning difficulties.

Our Ulcomb House team helps young adults with all of their daily activities so that they can lead independent and rewarding lives.

Following full induction, as a Night Support Worker you will work alongside a staff member who sleeps-in and who is available should they be needed. Your duties will include attending to service user needs should they wake during the night, keeping a clean and tidy home and some record keeping.

Whilst true that the Night Support Worker role has less interactions with the service users you will be given the same high level of training as any other employee so to ensure you have the right set of skills and experiences to make a success of the role.

You'll be providing and essential role in helping people to feel safe and secure in their lives and do all the things we often take for granted. Sometimes our young adults just need someone to talk to for emotional support too. Help them understand their relationships, plan for the future, assist with personal budgeting and enter the world of work.
