Project Senior Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor

Salary – Up to £85,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location: West London

My client is a well established main contractor who specialise in residential projects around West London and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

My client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team being site based. The project is a design and build conversion of an existing building to over 200 residential units at around the £30 million pound mark.

Duties to include but not be limited to;

* Understanding the risks and opportunities in such schemes.

* Ability to provide accurate cash flows.

* Sub-Contract Procurement including open protocol techniques.

* Placement of Sub-Contract Orders.

* Management of Sub-Contractors.

* Appropriate Sub-Contractor Payment Notifications.

* Issue Contractual Notices .

* Preliminaries Analyses.

* Monthly CVR preparation.

* Project CTC Forecasting.

* Reporting for Internal Reviews, identifying areas of risk.

* Proactivity with Design teams and related development.

* Positive engagement in opportunity areas and value engineering.

* Liaison with Employer team and assist with updating monthly SDL reports.

* Monthly payment applications.

* Valuation of Change.

* Ability to manage EoTs and Loss and Expense claims.

* Final Account agreement.

Candidate Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience

Must have JCT experience

Refurbishment and conversion expereince

Main contractor experience

Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card

Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty

About the Benefits and Reward:

Basic salary of up to £85,000 (depending on experience)
