Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Hybrid, 2/3 Days On-Site
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Interviews: 2 Stages, 1st Stage W/C 14th October

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join a dynamic team in Hertfordshire. This hybrid role will require the candidate to be on-site two or three days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
Utilise SQL for data extraction and transformation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Create and optimise DAX queries to enhance reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with finance teams to support financial modelling and the analysis of financial statements, including debits and credits.
Perform data validation and sanity checks to ensure the reliability of reports.
Assist in the design and implementation of BI solutions that support strategic business objectives.
Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly.

Key Requirements:

Proficiency in SQL and experience with front-end Power BI reporting.
Strong knowledge of DAX for report development.
Experience in financial modelling and understanding of financial statements (including debits/credits and sanity checks).
Proficiency in data modelling, dashboard design and advanced Excel skills.
Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in a BI or data analysis role.
A background in a corporate environment is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be able to drive to Buntingford for on-site work.
