First People Solutions are working with a leading civil engineering contractor delivering Scottish Water projects and a variety of other civils and infrastructure schemes. As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee project delivery across Scotland.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of water and civil engineering projects. You will manage site teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Managing site operations to ensure project milestones are achieved
✔ Ensuring health & safety compliance (SMSTS, CSCS required)
✔ Supervising subcontractors and site teams to maintain high standards
✔ Monitoring project progress, quality control, and budget management
✔ Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
✔ Providing leadership on-site, ensuring a productive and positive work environment

What We're Looking For:

✅ Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering
✅ Experience working on water infrastructure or Scottish Water projects (preferred)
✅ Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and site management best practices
✅ Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
✅ Excellent leadership, organisational and problem solving skills
