The Sunshine Room is supporting a unique, high-achieving, 'Outstanding' group of Independent therapeutic Schools to recruit positive, committed, and confident Maths Teachers for their team in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.

Each school caters for children and young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences so will require someone who is confident in this challenging environment.

The successful candidate will lead and teach Maths across the school, and should be confident teaching up to KS4.

Ideally you'll have experience of teaching in a specialist setting with children and young people with SEMH needs.

Teachers are at the core of leading the schools’ child-centered ethos and reflect their values and expectations. You will therefore be responsible for the highest standards of quality of education and behaviour management for children who have significant SEMH as well as other associated needs.

Essential and Desirable Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status in the UK

* Successful experience in delivering Maths up to KS4; preferably within a similar setting

* Further training or qualifications related to SEMH/SEN would be highly desirable

* Passion and enthusiasm for supporting students with barriers to learning
