A leading Manufacturing with expertise in the Aerospace, Defence and Marine sectors are seeking a CMM Quality Engineer to join their team

THE ROLE:

This role within the Company will entail the verification & quality of incoming, outgoing & internally manufactured products. That these products are in accordance with customer requirements, accrediting bodies requirements & internal processes & procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Carry out dimensional inspections using traditional manual inspection & CMM Laser tracker (FARO) methods

* Review of completed manufacturing documentation prior to product delivery.

* Produce final release documentation packs and inspection reports for component acceptance.

* Compiling First Article Reports in accordance with AS9102.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Knowledge working to ISO 9001 quality management system.

* Experience with FARO or similar Laser Tracker systems preferable or use of applications such as Polyworks, Spatial Analyzer or similar metrology software.

* Understanding of technical drawings, knowledge of GD&T would be advantageous.

25 days holiday, PMI and Dental cover after 1 years’ service, hours 40 per week 8.00 – 5.00 Mon – Thurs / Fri 8.00 – 2.00.

Salary: Up to £45,000
