WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Lloyd Recruitment Services are collaborating with a family run courier business on the outskirts of Horsham. They are looking to hire a Logistics Supervisor to work within their branch.

This is a fast paced, hands on role, with a combination of standard warehouse duties and back office administrative support. The right candidate will need to have a good understanding of shipping, warehouse or logistics processes, ideally with exposure to an office environment.

Main duties of the Warehouse Supervisor:

Supporting the daily warehouse functions, including loading, unloading, picking, packing and conducting quality checks on products
Completing shipping paperwork
Inputting freight information onto the company system
Liaising with couriers and external shipping providers
Tracking and monitoring parcels to ensure timely delivery
Liaising with clients and rectifying any concerns
Fostering professional and collaborative client relationships
Providing ad hoc cover to other sites as required (Crawley, Horley)

Necessary experience/skills:

Drivers' licence essential
Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
Background in customer support roles (advantageous)
Excellent administrative and computer skills
