Description
Performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.).
Conducting inspections of the facility to ensure all health and safety protocols are met.
Monitoring and replacing light fixtures and bulbs as necessary.
Maintaining inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
Responding quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
Keeping records of inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
Ensuring compliance with safety and fire regulations.Profile
A successful Maintenance Technician should have:
A formal qualification in a relevant field such as Building Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry or a related field.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools and common appliances.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work for long periods and lift heavy items.
Experience in healthcare environment is a plus.Job Offer
