Role: Capital Accountant

Type: Interim - 6 months

Salary: £400 to £600 per day

Fully Remote & Occasional Travel options

Location: Leicestershire

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Capital Accountant for our Local Authority client.

Key responsibilities for the Capital Accountant are;

Extensive Capital Accounting experience
Experience in closing down capital year-end accounts
Knowledge of effective budget preparation and monitoring
Understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements
General Accounting principles understanding.

The Ideal candidate for the Capital Accountant will have;

Knowledge and understanding of finance systems in Local Government (ideal)
Local Authority accounting and finance experience (ideal)
Fully Qualified Accountant
Stakeholder Management experience
Financial Systems and Excel experience.
