DCT Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our client team . The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well maintained for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Empty bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
• Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques or methods in cleaning practices.
• Reliable transportation to get to the workplace
• A valid DBS would be advantageous

• Pay: £12.21 per hour
• Expected hours: 15 per week
• Hours will be Monday to Friday - 1pm to 4pm
