Straight-Line Civils are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in concrete to start on site in Burton Green.

Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to)

* Preparing bill of quantities, budgeting, and cost control for projects

* Working closely with other team members including site and project managers, operations and commercial directors

* Managing and negotiating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

* Handle contracts meticulously to ensure the company is safeguarded in respect of contractual notifications progress, cost, quality etc

* Working closely with managers to ensure financial goals are met

* Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the concrete industry

* Experience with New Engineering Contracts (NEC)

* Valid driving licence

The job is a permanent or freelance site-based position in Burton Green commuting to another site once a week.

This salary is negotiable/dependent on experience.
