Our client, a leading manufacturer in Rotherham, is seeking a SHEQ Senior Advisor to drive continuous improvement in Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards across their facility.

The Role

As the SHEQ Senior Advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. You’ll lead initiatives to enhance safety culture, maintain quality and environmental standards, and support key stakeholders in implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Champion a proactive health, safety, and quality culture, engaging employees at all levels.

Maintain and develop ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.

Lead investigations into safety or quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Stay updated with legislative changes, ensuring compliance and updating internal policies.

Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to maintain operational excellence.

Support external and internal compliance audits with regulatory bodies and customers.

Collaborate with teams to implement SHEQ initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Monitor and report KPI performance, identifying areas for enhancement.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

At least five years’ experience in a SHEQ advisory or management role, ideally within manufacturing.

A NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).

A Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline.

Strong knowledge and auditing experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

COSHH training certification.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

38-hour working week
