Location: Oxfordshire (5 days on-site)
Rate: £350 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months (ASAP interviews and start dates)

About the Role:

Our client, a reputable engineering firm based in Oxfordshire, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Site-Based Geotechnical Engineer to support their work on the HS2 scheme. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects, providing expertise in site supervision, design oversight, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site supervision and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Oversee geotechnical designs and provide technical guidance as required.
Liaise directly with clients to ensure their requirements are met effectively.
Prepare and review site reports, project documentation, and designs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:

Proven experience in geotechnical engineering with site-based work.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Availability to work 5 days a week on-site in Oxfordshire (essential).
Relevant qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering or related fields.
